(Baonghean.vn) -This afternoon, October 15, the Legal Committee of the Provincial People's Council surveyed the operation of property auction organizations according to Decree 17 of the Government and Decision 37 of the Provincial People's Committee on property auctions at the Department of Justice. Joining the delegation were representatives of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; Department of Planning and Investment; Department of Finance.
In general, the property auction activities in the province have now basically become routine, meeting the spirit of socialization of this field in accordance with Decree 17 of the Government. Accordingly, the whole province has changed from having only 1 property auction service center to having 8 organizations and enterprises participating in professional auction activities. Thanks to that, it has created conditions for property owners to have the right to choose the auction organization (except for properties confiscated to the public fund).
However, the professionalism and legal understanding of auctions of enterprises participating in professional auctions are not high. The implementation of some regulations on land auctions is not thorough, for example, information and advertising of auctions at the district level is not widespread. The coordination relationship between localities with assets for auction and organizations and enterprises conducting auctions is not closely linked, smooth and effective. Although auction activities have been socialized, enterprises still have the mentality of choosing to participate in widespread land auctions and are not interested in limited land auctions. There are still signs of unhealthy competition among units participating in property auctions.
At the survey, the Legal Committee of the Provincial People's Council also recommended that the Department of Justice and related sectors, based on their functions and tasks, need to strengthen state management as well as enhance propaganda work and improve capacity for organizations and enterprises so that asset auction activities can be more effective in the coming time.
