The money was donated by groups and individuals during the action month "For Agent Orange victims and poor disabled people in 2012".

On the occasion of the 51st anniversary of the Agent Orange/dioxin disaster in Vietnam, on the evening of August 5, at the Ho Chi Minh City Theater, the 6th "Aspiration to Live" art program was held by the Red Cross Society and Vietnam Television in Ho Chi Minh City.

This is one of the activities of the Action Month “For Agent Orange Victims and Poor Disabled People in 2012” of the Ho Chi Minh City Red Cross Society to continue mobilizing funds to support Agent Orange victims. At the same time, it is to express gratitude to the kind hearts of the city’s people as well as international friends who always care and share the pain of Vietnamese Agent Orange/dioxin victims.

Through the art program and the walk "For Agent Orange Victims" that took place earlier, organizations, groups and individuals donated a total of nearly 3 billion VND to the Agent Orange Victims Support Fund - Ho Chi Minh City Red Cross Society.

It is known that from 2006 to 2011, the Fund has taken care of Agent Orange victims in many forms such as regular subsidies, production capital, health check-ups, charity houses, savings books... with a total amount of nearly 30 billion VND.
