For his part, our Ambassador to Argentina Nguyen Van Dao highly appreciated the initiative to establish the Center, where Argentine friends have more opportunities to learn about Vietnamese culture through activities organized by the Center.

On this occasion, the Ambassador also appreciated the effective activities of the Argentina-Vietnam Cultural Institute (ICAV), since its establishment 15 years ago, contributing to enhancing understanding between the people of the two countries.

The ceremony ended with a performance of graceful ao dai by Argentine girls, as well as some of the South American country's famous traditional tango dances.

The Center's operation will contribute to the implementation of the Cultural Cooperation Program for the 2010-2012 period signed in 2010 between the two countries' Ministries of Culture during Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung's official visit to Argentina.
