Market Management Department: Check and temporarily seize bras containing foreign objects

(Baonghean.vn) -This morning, November 1, Nghe An Market Management Department organized a working group to inspect bra sales locations in Vinh city.

At two stalls selling men's and women's underwear, Hoang Chau and Tam Vinh (Vinh market), the working group temporarily seized 38 women's bras. Each bra contained 6 strange white beads and 2 plastic bags containing a white slimy liquid.

The working group is checking foreign objects at underwear stores in Vinh market.

According to the owner of Hoang Chau store, the above mentioned underwear was imported from Hanoi and its origin is unknown. According to Ms. Phuc - the owner of the bedding, pillow, mattress store next to Tam Vinh store, women's bras have two types: soft mattress and wet mattress. The wet mattress is the type that contains foreign objects and strange solutions. Ms. Phuc said: "According to lingerie sellers, wet mattress has the effect of cooling and hugging, so young women like to use it."

The working group sealed and made a record of temporarily seizing women's underwear containing foreign objects.

At the inspection points, many consumers and sellers watched and expressed their concerns. People suggested boycotting these products and wanted the authorities to inspect and clarify. Mr. Le Van Minh - Head of the mobile inspection team (Nghe An Market Management Department) advised people not to use these products and said that the team would first make a record of temporary detention so that the responsible agency could check whether the foreign object and solution affected the health of consumers or not.
