(Baonghean) - Born in 1973 in Nam Giang commune (Nam Dan) in a family with a tradition of studiousness, after finishing high school, Tran Thi Nhu entered Nghe An Pedagogical High School. After graduating in 1994, she volunteered to go to the mountains and was assigned to work at Dong Hop 1 Primary School in Quy Hop district. With her love for the profession and her diligence in improving her expertise and skills, after only 4 years (1999), teacher Tran Thi Nhu became an excellent teacher at the provincial level. Since then, for 13 consecutive years, she has been recognized as an excellent teacher at the provincial level and has continuously achieved the title of Emulation Fighter at the grassroots level, a party member who has excellently completed her tasks.

For nearly 20 years with many generations of students, teacher Tran Thi Nhu has always put all her ability and enthusiasm into each lesson. Not only has her superiors recognized her, but many parents and students have always considered her as a family member. The most honorable thing for her is that she was recently voted by the Department of Education and Training as one of the 15 outstanding teachers of the province to attend the national meeting of excellent teachers on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day on November 20 in Da Nang City.

Ms. Vu Thi Kim Thanh, Party cell secretary and principal of Dong Hop 1 Primary School, said, “Ms. Tran Thi Nhu is truly a shining example, having made many contributions to the school’s overall achievements. The school has continuously achieved the status of an advanced school, was recognized as a national standard school in phase 1 in 2001 and a cultural unit in 2003. The school is currently continuing to build a national standard school at level 2, so the contributions of teachers like Ms. Nhu are very important.”

With her capacity and qualities, teacher Tran Thi Nhu was elected by the Party cell as Deputy Secretary of the Party cell and appointed by the District Department of Education and Training to hold the position of Vice Principal of the school.
