After evaluation and secret balloting, 41 candidates were recognized as meeting the qualifications for the title of professor; 426 candidates were recognized as meeting the qualifications for the title of associate professor.

This year, Vinh University has 3 teachers who were awarded the title of associate professor, including: Dr. Tran Van Thuc (Head of History Department), Dr. Luu Tien Hung (Head of Electronics and Telecommunications Department) and Dr. Tran Dinh Thang (Deputy Head of Chemistry Department).
