Gaza ceasefire at risk of collapse
The world continues to protest against Israel's attacks, fearing the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip is at risk of collapsing.
On November 23, one Palestinian was killed and 25 others were injured in an Israeli shelling of the city of Khan Younis in southern Gaza. This was the first casualty since Israel and the Hamas movement, which controls the Gaza Strip in Palestine, reached a ceasefire agreement, ending a week-long conflict. This incident has raised concerns in the international community that the ceasefire between the two sides could collapse at any time.

Israeli soldiers opened fire on a group of people who strayed into the buffer zone between Israel and the Gaza Strip, killing one person and wounding about 25 others, Palestinian health authorities said.
Meanwhile, Israel said soldiers fired warning shots into the air when the group tried to climb over the buffer zone fence near the town of Khan Younis, in the southern Gaza Strip. Israeli military spokeswoman Avital Leibovich said, "attempting to cross the Gaza fence into Israel is a breach of the ceasefire."
Earlier, on November 22, Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak warned that the country could resume attacks on Gaza at any time if the ceasefire was not implemented. However, currently, there has been no reaction from the Hamas armed forces regarding this casualty.
Since Israel and Hamas reached a ceasefire agreement, the international community has hoped that this agreement will last. Speaking in Berlin, Germany, on November 23, German Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle stressed the importance of a lasting ceasefire in southern Israel and the Gaza Strip.
In a speech in Moscow on the same day, Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov also highly appreciated the ceasefire agreement between Israel and the Hamas movement, and stressed that both sides need to continue to resolve bilateral relations positively. All solutions to conflicts between Arab countries and Israel can only come from peace negotiations between Palestine and Israel.
Meanwhile, in many places around the world, protests against Israel's attacks on the Gaza Strip that caused large civilian casualties continue to take place, such as in Bolivia, Argentina, Venezuela... Yesterday, protesters gathered in the Bolivian capital La Paz to condemn Israel for "committing war crimes".
Mr. Altaramsi - a protester said: "The Palestinian community gathered here to condemn the Israeli massacre against the people of Gaza, which killed hundreds of people, injured thousands of people, including many children, the elderly, and women."
Fearing that the Israel-Palestine conflict could escalate at any time, the Russian Navy Command announced yesterday afternoon that it had dispatched warships from the Black Sea Fleet to the sea area near the Gaza Strip to evacuate Russian citizens.
According to analysts, although Israel and Hamas have agreed to a ceasefire agreement, the underlying conflict between the two sides still remains. Therefore, to have long-term sustainability and fundamentally end the conflict in the Middle East, there needs to be more concrete steps and positive goodwill from both Palestinians and Jews./.
