Another fire breaks out at an oil refinery in Venezuela
Firefighters contained the fire and were able to extinguish it soon.
On September 20, a fire broke out at the El Palito oil refinery in Puerto Cabello city, Carabobo state, northern Venezuela, after lightning struck two of the plant's oil tanks.

According to local authorities, a fire brigade of 120 personnel was promptly present at the scene and urgently deployed to extinguish the fire. Firefighters were able to contain the fire and were able to quickly extinguish the blaze. There have been no reports of casualties in this fire.
The El Palito refinery has a capacity of 140,000 barrels per day.
This is the second fire to occur at a Venezuelan oil refinery in nearly a month.
Earlier, an explosion at the Amuay oil refinery in the early morning of August 25 left more than 120 people injured, including at least 41 dead. The explosion also burned down 209 houses and 11 nearby shops, becoming one of the most horrific tragedies in the history of this South American country.
Amuay is Venezuela's largest refinery with a capacity of 645,000 barrels of oil per day, located in the northeastern state of Falcon, owned by the Venezuelan state-owned oil company (PDVSA) and part of the Paraguana Refinery Center, one of the world's largest refining complexes with a total capacity of 955,000 barrels per day.
Venezuela, a member of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), is the largest oil exporter in South America and the fifth largest in the world with the largest reserves of heavy crude oil estimated at 99.4 billion barrels./.
