(Baognhean.vn) -The Wildlife Rescue Center - Pu Mat National Park has just released a batch of animals including red-faced monkeys, turtles, soft-shell turtles... back into the forest.



On November 1, 2012, under the supervision and witness of the Con Cuong District Procuracy, the Pu Mat National Park Forest Protection Department, the Wildlife Rescue Center - Pu Mat National Park released a batch of animals handed over by the Provincial Forest Protection Departments, the Police and the Forest Protection Management Stations - Pu Mat Forest Protection Department to the Center with the following species and quantity: Golden-fronted box turtle (Cuora galbilnirol) 7 individuals; Four-eyed turtle (Sacalia quadriocellata): 4 individuals; Parrot-billed turtle (Platysternon megacephalum): 13 individuals; Large land turtle (Heosemys grandis): 1 individual; Mountain tortoise (Manouria impressa): 8 individuals; Sepon land turtle (Cyclemys tcheponensis): 14 individuals; Toothed turtle (Hiere mysannandalii): 1 individual; Spiny softshell turtle ((Palea steindachneri): 2 individuals and 3 Macaca arctoides individuals.

Before being released back into the forest, the above animals were all guaranteed to be healthy enough to adapt to living conditions in the wild and were released into the strictly protected area of ​​Pu Mat National Park.
