Instructions for implementing the Resolution on taking a vote of confidence
At the 13th session that opened on the morning of December 11, the National Assembly Standing Committee will give its opinion (for the first time) on the draft guidelines for implementing the National Assembly's Resolution on taking a vote of confidence and voting for people holding positions elected or approved by the National Assembly or People's Council.

In his opening speech, National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung said that the National Assembly Standing Committee gave opinions on the draft guidelines for implementing the above Resolution to ensure that the vote of confidence and vote of no confidence takes place objectively and effectively.
The National Assembly Chairman requested that the draft guidelines for implementing this Resolution must be available 2 or 3 months before the 5th Session of the 13th National Assembly begins (expected in May 2013).
In addition to the above content, the National Assembly Standing Committee also gave opinions on the draft (second time) of amending the 1992 Constitution and the plan to organize public consultation on the draft of amending the 1992 Constitution, and gave opinions on the allocation of 2 national target programs: Climate change and overcoming environmental pollution.
The Committee gave opinions on the remaining issues of the draft Law on Land (amended), on major issues with remaining differences of the draft Law on Grassroots Mediation and the draft Ordinance on Amending and Supplementing a Number of Articles of the Ordinance on Foreign Exchange.
The National Assembly Standing Committee also commented and approved a Resolution on the collection and disbursement of oil and gas profits shared by the host country from the Vietsovpetro Joint Venture Enterprise and oil and gas product sharing contracts according to the Government's Submission No. 340/TTr-CP dated November 21, 2012.
At this session, the Committee will approve the 2013 Work Program of the National Assembly Standing Committee.
On December 11, the National Assembly Standing Committee will evaluate the results of the 4th session and give initial opinions on preparations for the 5th session of the 13th National Assembly; and approve the 2013 Program of foreign affairs and international cooperation activities of the National Assembly agencies.
