Yamaha Festival gives helmets to students

(Baonghean.vn) –This morning (December 8), in Vinh city, the Yamaha Gift Program "Joining hands for the future generation" took place, organized by Yamaha Motor Vietnam Company in coordination with the Department of Education and Training of Nghe An.



Representatives of the Department of Education and Training, Department of Transport, Traffic Police Department... attended.

This is an annual community activity initiated by Yamaha since 2003 and up to now, more than 2.7 million school supplies and helmets have been given to primary school students. Speaking at the program, a representative of Yamaha Company said: For the past 9 consecutive years, with the desire to contribute to practically supporting the learning conditions for children and contributing to comprehensive education on Traffic Safety at schools, the Yamaha Gift program "Joining hands for the future generation" has reached millions of primary school students in more than 23 provinces across the country. This program takes place in Vinh City, Nghe An Province. The program will give away 18,401 children's helmets worth 2.3 billion VND. The helmet gifts will be delivered by the Company to primary school students at the schools.

At the ceremony, representatives of 20 primary school students were given helmets. In addition to the gift of beautifully designed children's helmets, Yamaha Gift Festival 2012 also brought to the students many attractive performances by comedians and magicians. In addition, the useful playground "Learning Traffic Safety with Yamaha" with many interesting games such as drawing contest "My dream car", traffic light signal discovery contest, soccer,... also attracted a large number of students to participate. These activities aim to promote dynamism and creativity, train physical fitness - team spirit, especially through which students can supplement their knowledge about traffic safety.
