There are still over 6,000 train tickets available for Tet holiday.

The railway industry will sell approximately 3,500 additional seats on all Thong Nhat trains.

At a press conference on the morning of January 4th, the Vietnam Railways Corporation announced that as of January 3rd, there were still 6,222 train tickets available for the 2013 Lunar New Year holiday. These tickets are being sold by the railway industry through its computer system, telephone, agents, and in person.

According to Mr. Nguyen Dat Tuong, General Director of Vietnam Railways Corporation, in addition to the remaining seats mentioned above, the railway industry will sell approximately 3,500 extra seats on all Thong Nhat trains traveling from Saigon to Hanoi and will reduce ticket prices by 40% for all passengers purchasing extra seats traveling from February 1st to 8th.
