Cambodia discovers 11 ancient temples and many ruins

According to the Cambodia Express News, on January 16, the authorities of Tropang Prosat district, Oddar Meanchey province, Cambodia announced that the district had found 11 ancient temples in the locality.

Colonel Keo Tan, Chief of Police of Tropang Prosat district, said that he and his team found 11 ancient temples and the ruins of other temples.

“Most of the temples are severely damaged, we did not find any ancient sculptures at the temples,” Mr. Keo Tan stressed.

The 11 identified temples include Rolom Toek Khmao, Tatonh, Lboeuk Chrei, Trapang Toem, Sva Kres, Ou Chek, Krohorm Senchey, Tropang Prosat, Ou Svay, Totoul Cha and Totoul Prosat temples./.
