From January 15th to January 25th, Nghe An Newspaper received the following complaints, denunciations, and suggestions:
- Mr. Pham Xuynh, residing at 12C Doc Thiet Street, Vinh City: Sharing some information from the series of articles: "Laos is a familiar country" by author Thanh Chung.
- Citizens of Hamlet 9, Nghi Kim Commune, Vinh City: Accuse the Head of the Inspection Department of Vinh City of covering up and failing to implement decisions of the City Party Committee and the People's Committee of Vinh City, and of showing contempt and insulting behavior towards those who report land-related issues.
- Citizens of Hamlet 1, Nghi Dien Commune, Nghi Loc District petitioned: They submitted job applications to the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Nghe An Province under the policy of "attracting talent". In June 2012, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee signed a decision to accept them, but both the Provincial Livestock Center and the Veterinary Sub-Department refused to accept them.
- Citizens of Block 8, Ben Thuy Ward, Vinh City, petitioned: They purchased houses on land owned by Hoang Thi Loan Textile and Garment Joint Stock Company in 2006. They have paid the money to process the land title deed, but the Ward People's Committee replied that it would not be issued because the purchase was made after 2004, the City People's Committee would reclaim the land to sell it, and the households here would be resettled in another location.
- Complaint: The case concerning a property lease contract dispute between Mr. Nguyen Trong Thanh of Dong Ha hamlet, Dong Hieu commune, Nghia Dan district, and Long Hoa Agricultural and Electricity Service Cooperative was ordered by the Civil Division of the Supreme People's Court to be retried at the first instance by Decision No. 153/2012/DS-GDT dated March 26, 2012, in accordance with the law, but it has not yet been brought to trial.
- Citizens of Bac Vuc hamlet, Do Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district, complain: After Bac Vuc hamlet was recognized as a "Export-oriented rattan and bamboo weaving" craft village, the hamlet submitted a project to request a standard for a craft village road. The commune leaders promised to pave the road with asphalt as planned. The people contributed money, donated land, and cleared the area for a 7-meter-wide road, but by June 2012, instead of building the craft village road, they paved Road 205 – a provincial road. The people are indignant and perceive irregularities.
- Complaint: Citizens of Hamlet 2, Hung Loi Commune, Hung Nguyen District, are frequently harassing, beating, and seriously injuring people with knives in order to seize citizens' property. We request that the local authorities and competent agencies take strict measures to deal with these lawbreakers.
