Chau Hanh Commune (Quy Chau) launched a club for people with "H"

(Baonghean.vn) -This morning, December 27, Chau Hanh Commune Health Station (Quy Chau) coordinated with the Party Committee, Management Board and mass organizations of Dinh Tien village to launch the Dinh Tien village HIV/AIDS prevention club.

The club has 54 members aged 12-46, from 4 villages: Dinh Tien, Ta Co, Ke Ninh and Pa Co. According to statistics, Chau Hanh commune currently has 84 people infected with HIV/AIDS (data as of November 30, 2012). Of these, 49 people are under management and are receiving ARV treatment. According to statistics provided by the commune health station, Chau Hanh commune currently has 6/18 villages with people infected with HIV. Of which, the infection rate is concentrated in the above villages with 54 people.



The staff of the commune health station thoroughly grasped the regulations of the club for people with HIV/AIDS in Dinh Tien village.

The launch of the "H" club aims to help families with husbands, children, relatives or themselves, and residential areas with or without people infected with HIV/AIDS to be confident in life. Thereby, it aims to change behavior, reduce the risk of HIV/AIDS infection in the community, create a healthy playground, and fight discrimination against people with HIV/AIDS.
