If an internet service provider fails to terminate the internet subscriber line or the line of the internet agency contract for a public electronic game service point that operates beyond the prescribed hours as required by a competent state agency, it will also be fined from 30 to 50 million VND.
At the same time, the draft stipulates a fine of 5 - 10 million VND for the act of providing public electronic game services without a business registration certificate "Public electronic game service point"; or the signboard "Public electronic game service point" does not have one of the following information: Name of the point, address, contact phone number, business registration number. (Article 57)
Players can be fined up to 5 million VND
Players will also be fined from VND500,000 to VND1 million if they play unlicensed or unregistered electronic games as prescribed; do not register personal information when playing G1 games; or do not comply with regulations on managing playing hours or regulations on operating hours of public electronic game service points.
In particular, if players take advantage of electronic games to commit illegal acts, causing disorder in social order and national security, they will be fined from 3 to 5 million VND.
The highest fine for violations of regulations on online electronic games is from 160 to 200 million VND, applied to the act of setting up a system of equipment to provide online electronic game services G1 without a license or using an expired license (except in cases where the Enterprise has submitted an application for license renewal within the prescribed time limit).
