Michal Nguyen will play for the Vietnamese national team.

Through a recommendation from Mai Duc Chung, a member of the National Coaching Council and considered a candidate for the interim head coach position of the Vietnamese national team, the VFF is proceeding with the procedures to invite player Michal Nguyen to play for them.

Michal Nguyen, 24 years old, is a member of the first team of FK Baník Most in the Czech Republic. At this club, Michal Nguyen wears the number 19 jersey and can play well as a center-back, right-back, and central midfielder.

Michal Nguyen has a Vietnamese father and a Czech mother. In mid-2012, during a trip to the Czech Republic and several other European countries to learn from their experiences, Coach Mai Duc Chung, who was also a member of the National Coaches Council, personally watched Michal Nguyen play in a club match.FK Baník Most highly rates this player's abilities.

Michal Nguyen doesn't speak Vietnamese and can only communicate in Czech or English. His idol is Sergio Ramos, the star of Real Madrid and the Spanish national team.

Unless something changes, Michal Nguyen will return to Vietnam and join the national team starting with the training camp on January 23rd.
