The Prime Minister decided to transfer the task of national reserve of edible salt from the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development to the Ministry of Finance for management from April 1, 2013.

The transfer of the task of managing the national reserve of edible salt is carried out according to the principle of handing over the status quo of tasks, organization, personnel, finance, assets, projects, records and related documents at the time of handover on the basis of current regulations of the State for each handover content.

The Prime Minister requested the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development to be responsible for directing the Northern Food Corporation to hand over the national salt reserve management system; the Ministry of Finance to be responsible for directing the General Department of State Reserves to receive the national salt reserve management system according to the above principles.

For issues that cannot be resolved at the time of handover, the handover shall be carried out according to the data on the books, and at the same time, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development shall coordinate with the Ministry of Finance to resolve them according to regulations.

The Ministry of Home Affairs shall preside over and coordinate with the Ministry of Finance to resolve the staffing authority of the Ministry of Finance (General Department of State Reserves) when taking over the task of managing national salt reserves./.
