Myanmar: Bus plunges into ravine, 50 people injured and killed
According to Xinhua News Agency, Myanmar media reported on January 24 that 14 people were killed and 33 others injured in a tragic bus accident in the Taunggup-Naybutaung area of the western state of Rakhine.

The Global Times reported that the Aung Thit Sar bus, traveling from Yangon to Thandwe, plunged into a 36-meter deep ravine after losing control at 1:30 a.m. (local time).
According to local police, among the dead were six women and one child.
The injured were taken to Taunggup Hospital for emergency treatment./.
