Delegates discuss at Group 6
Delegate Lang Van Chien - Secretary of Quy Chau District Party Committee, raised the current situation of implementing a number of projects in the area that have reclaimed land from people but people have not yet been compensated according to regulations. The project construction process directly affects the production and life of people such as the construction of Chau Thon - Tan Xuan traffic road. The resettlement planning of Ban Mong Irrigation is slow, causing anxiety and worry for people, Chau Thon - Tan Xuan road passes through 3 communes of the district including: Chau Dinh, Ha Son and Van Loi, the land acquisition cost is more than 30 billion VND, however, only 5 billion VND of the land acquisition compensation cost has been paid to people. The unfinished project is currently suspended due to lack of capital, causing difficulties for people to travel, produce, live, children to go to school, and causing difficulties and losses for the contractor.
Delegate Cao Thanh Long - Secretary of Quy Hop District Party Committee suggested: It is necessary to have a mechanism to support and remove difficulties in capital for enterprises in general and construction enterprises in particular. Only then can we create conditions for the local economy to develop, as well as the production and living conditions of the people.
Emphasizing further on the backlog in construction causing difficulties for the local socio-economic development, delegate Vi Xuan Giap - Secretary of Con Cuong District Party Committee pointed out a reality: in Con Cuong, although the construction planning of Tra Lan Town has been temporarily suspended, construction projects such as the stadium, Tay Nam hospital, traffic system... are still unfinished, causing waste and difficulties for businesses as well as people's lives.
