National Assembly delegates meet voters in Ngoc Son commune (Thanh Chuong)
(Baonghean.vn)- Continuing the program of meeting voters before the session, this afternoon (April 22), National Assembly delegates including Mr. Tran Huu Tuat - Deputy Commander of Military Region 4, Ms. Le Thi Tam - President of the Provincial Women's Union had a meeting with voters in Ngoc Son commune, Thanh Chuong district.

At the voter meeting, voters demonstrated their responsibility to participate in contributing and proposing to the National Assembly and the Government many macro-level issues of the country. They proposed that the National Assembly have a policy mechanism for new rural construction; continue to lend cement to build infrastructure. Review the method of organizing provincial land auction councils to avoid causing difficulties for the grassroots; propose to leave 70% of the land auction money to the locality to serve new rural construction.
Voters expressed their opinions that the Law on Militia and Self-Defense Forces has been issued for 3 years but there is no budget to pay for training local militias, so they suggested that along with the promulgation of laws, there should be conditions to ensure their implementation. Voters continued to recommend that the State should have measures to resolve the issue of refunding money to people when the power grid has been handed over to the electricity industry; suggested that the State have a policy to reward families with the Gold List of Honor; Individual Resistance Medals; people infected with Agent Orange; the commune police regime; hamlet chiefs...

At the end of the meeting with voters, Ms. Le Thi Tam thanked voters for their sincere, frank, and responsible opinions, and explained a number of issues voters were concerned about, promising to fully summarize the opinions and send them to the National Assembly, the Government, and central ministries and branches.
