February 1, 2013 20:36

(Baonghean) -Over the past 83 years, since the Party was founded (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2013), the Vietnamese people have always been steadfast in their revolutionary struggle for independence, freedom, socialism, and the happiness of the people.

Nghe An, a land with a rich history of culture, tradition of patriotism and revolution, the heroic homeland of the Soviet Union, the homeland of President Ho Chi Minh, is also filled with joy and happiness about the progressive movements after a year of striving. What is easily noticeable is the transformation in each organization and individual after the review in the spirit of Resolution 4 of the Central Committee. The working atmosphere among cadres, party members and people is more open, sharing, understanding each other; self-awareness with work is higher, consensus is better in carrying out political tasks. Thanks to that, sectors, levels, localities, business communities, and people of all walks of life have made efforts to continue to maintain socio-economic stability, ensuring people's lives. In 2012, 18/24 targets were achieved and exceeded the set plan. Average income per capita reached 20.28 million VND, up 14.3% over the same period last year. The poverty rate has decreased to 15.35%. In the context of inflation and high prices, agricultural production has affirmed its own strengths to withstand the "storm" of the economy. The total food output of the province is estimated at nearly 1.2 million tons. Currently, all communes in the province have completed the approval of the new rural construction project; actively mobilizing people to contribute to building infrastructure, consolidating land, and exchanging plots, contributing to creating a new rural appearance...

Along with the general achievements of the province, each locality has its own joys, creating great spiritual motivation, encouraging cadres, party members and people to rise up. Nam Dan district, with the joy of being recognized by the Government as a special National Monument in 2012 and the spirit after reviewing the Central Resolution 4, is creating new changes. Mr. Tran Thanh Luyen, in Yen Khanh block, Nam Dan town, shared that in the past, many people when they had to meet with town officials were not very satisfied with the attitude and sense of responsibility of this team. Some officials sometimes came late and left early, making people wait. In the process of communicating with people, the instructions and explanations to people were not thorough. Now, we people often tell each other: The attitude and responsibility of town officials have completely changed, working more responsibly with the people, for the people. Comrade Secretary of Nam Dan District Party Committee, Thai Thanh Quy also affirmed: The most obvious change is in the ideological work, the sense of responsibility of cadres and civil servants has been raised. After the 4th Central Committee review, everyone feels that they have to be more strict with themselves, cultivate and practice better ethics and lifestyle to constantly improve leadership and direction capacity, innovate working methods to better fulfill the duties and responsibilities assigned by the Party and the people. This has been and is being realized by the Party Committee and people of Nam Dan in the implementation of socio-economic, national defense - security and Party building tasks in 2012. Nam Dan is making efforts to achieve the goal of a national model district in building new rural areas. In the 3 poor districts implementing Resolution 30a/CP of the Government: Ky Son, Que Phong, Tuong Duong, they have also demonstrated overcoming difficulties and hardships to follow the common development steps with the province and the country. In Ky Son, thanks to the investment of the State, the infrastructure has developed quite comprehensively, with 100% of communes having car roads to the center; schools and medical stations have been built spaciously and solidly; the power grid system is continuing to be extended to remote communes. The Party Committee and people of all ethnic groups in Ky Son district have also been showing initiative and creativity in building and developing production models suitable to local conditions, bringing economic efficiency and sustainable poverty reduction, such as: raising cows, black chickens, black pigs with high economic value; Tuyet Shan tea trees are grown in the direction of specialized commodity production; ginger and galangal planting models in Na Ngoi, Doc May, Tam Hoa plums in Muong Long and Tay Son communes; peanut planting in Na Loi, Bac Ly, Huu Lap are bright spots in the economic development of the highland border district of Ky Son. In Que Phong, thanks to the innovation in leadership, direction and management of the Party Committee, government, Fatherland Front and organizations in the political system from district to grassroots level; promoting the strength of the great national solidarity bloc has also created new momentum and resilience to bring innovation to the homeland. The lives of ethnic minorities no longer have to rely on the forest, completely dependent on the forest, but instead are new economic models. In addition to maintaining a stable 4,819 hectares of rice fields to provide local food sources, in Que Phong there have also been many new economic models. Typical are economic models of growing sugarcane, passion fruit, raising Mong Cai pigs for reproduction; raising fish in cages on rivers, lakes and dams...

The new spring of the Party is creating a new momentum for agencies, units, cadres and party members in the province to combine self-criticism according to Resolution 4 of the Central Committee with the implementation of Directive 03 of the Politburo with real results. Accordingly, following Uncle Ho's example has spread strongly, contributing to cultivating and training moral qualities in each cadre, party member and citizen; changing working style and manners in each collective and individual; helping people in difficult areas, poor communes and poor neighborhoods; donating land to build new rural areas... The new spring is coming with a new momentum and new joy, each cadre, party member and citizen in Nghe An is enthusiastically working, studying and fighting following the example of great Uncle Ho, striving to successfully implement the Resolution of the 17th Provincial Party Congress, term 2010 - 2015.
