Thanh Chuong: Signing a commitment not to have a third child in the education sector

(Baonghean.vn) -On the morning of March 11, the Thanh Chuong District Population and Family Planning Center coordinated with the Thanh Chuong District Department of Education and Training to organize a signing ceremony of a commitment to implement the population/family planning policy of not having a third child in the education sector.

The signing ceremony was attended by principals, representatives of leaders of high schools, middle schools, primary schools, kindergartens and vocational training centers in the area. This activity aims to raise the sense of responsibility in implementing the policies of the Party and State on population and family planning for teachers and staff in the education sector. Because this is one of the groups of subjects that have violated the population policy the most in recent years.

Representatives of leaders of high schools, middle schools, primary schools, kindergartens and vocational training centers in the area signed the commitment.

In 2013, Thanh Chuong district strives to reduce the birth rate of the third child or more by 1 - 1.2%. In which, 100% of schools in the district, teachers and staff in the school are organized to propagate and mobilize to sign a commitment to implement the population and family planning policy. Each school will directly sign 2 commitments with the Department of Education and Training, 1 copy is kept at the district Department of Education and Training and 1 copy is kept at the schools. Then the school will sign the commitment with each teacher. Along with that, every year the district Department of Education and Training will establish a working group in charge of the field of population and family planning, coordinate with the district Center for Population and Family Planning to monitor and grasp the implementation of population and family planning work in schools. Each school must report the results of population and family planning work twice a year to the district Department of Education and Training before May 31 and December 31 every year for inspection and monitoring.
