Northern Vietnam is about to experience three consecutive cold fronts.
Starting from January 24th until the end of January 2013, there will be three consecutive cold fronts moving down to Northern Vietnam, bringing rain and cold weather.

According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, tonight and tomorrow, the northern provinces will be affected by a weak, intensifying continental cold high-pressure system, which will gradually weaken.
Around late afternoon and night of the 24th, the continental cold high pressure system will intensify, while at higher altitudes, the westerly jet stream will gradually become stronger.
Subsequently, around the 27th, the continental cold high pressure system is likely to intensify again and further strengthen during the evening and night of the 29th and the morning of the 30th of January.
According to Mr. Le Thanh Hai, Deputy Director of the Central Meteorological and Hydrological Center, although there will be successive cold spells in the coming period, the forecast for Northern Vietnam is that it will not be as intensely cold as the recent cold spell, but mainly will have light rain and drizzle.
Accordingly, on the 23rd and 24th, Northern Vietnam will be cloudy with scattered light rain, drizzle, and fog. Northeast to east winds will be at level 2-3. The weather will be cold.
On the 25th and 26th, it will be cloudy with scattered light rain. Northeast winds will be at level 2-3. It will be cold, with some areas experiencing severe cold.
From January 27th to February 1st, it will be cloudy with scattered rain and light rain on the 27th, 29th, and 30th. Northeast winds will be at level 3. It will be cold, with severe cold in mountainous areas.
