Quynh Luu: Launching the Art Photography Club of Quynh Land

(Baonghean.vn)This morning, February 1st, 2013, the Culture and Information Center of Quynh Luu District held a ceremony to establish the Quynh Land Art Photography Club.

The Quynh Land Photography Club comprises 25 members, including professional and amateur photographers in the district, and is chaired by Mr. Tran To, a member of the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists. According to Mr. Van Hoanh, Head of the Photography Department of the Provincial Association of Literature and Arts, Quynh Luu is the first district in the province to have a photography club.

The club was established with the aim of enhancing interaction, learning, and professional exchange in the art of photography; and at the same time, promoting and introducing images of the homeland and people of Quynh Luu to the public; contributing to building a more prosperous and beautiful Quynh Luu. The club's operating funds are raised from organizations, individuals, and membership fees contributed by the club members.

On this occasion, the Club launched a photography competition focusing on festivals and events in the district such as the Cờn Temple Festival, the Spring Newspaper Fair, etc., and organized an exhibition at the Cờn Temple Festival in 2013.
