Ho Phi Tu, son of Ho Phi Phu, grandson of Quynh Quan Cong Ho Phi Tich, a native of Quynh Doi village, Quynh Luu. Ho Phi Phu married a woman named Dau, the daughter of the Deputy Governor of Hai Duong, Dau Dang Tieu; a native of Nhan Son village (now Quynh Hong commune, Quynh Luu), and gave birth to three sons: Ho Phi Phuc, Ho Phi Tu, and Ho Phi Dien. Ho Phi Phu died early, and the mother and sons moved to their maternal grandparents' house in Nhan Son village. When all three brothers were grown up and had wives and children, the eldest brother, Ho Phi Phuc, gave birth to Nguyen Nhac, Nguyen Hue, and Nguyen Lu, and moved to Thai Lao, Hung Nguyen, and then moved to Binh Dinh. Later, Ho Phi Dien moved to Khan Xuan ward (Hanoi) with his daughter, poetess Ho Xuan Huong, while Ho Phi Tu and his wife and children stayed in Nhan Son to take care of his elderly mother.

Later, Ho Phi Dien moved to Khan Xuan ward (Hanoi) with his daughter, poetess Ho Xuan Huong, while Ho Phi Tu and his wife and children stayed in Nhan Son to take care of his elderly mother..

When hearing the news that the Qing army was invading our country, Ho Phi Tu, despite his old age, "volunteered" to go to Tien Ly garrison (a location near Tien Doi village (now in Quynh Hoa commune, Quynh Luu) and Nhan Ly village (now in Quynh Hong), the largest garrison of the Tay Son insurgents, to join the military and quickly became a pioneer general.

After defeating 290,000 Qing troops, he was given the title of Marquis Tu Nhan and did not participate in government, returning to Nhan Son village to farm.

... “He was a man who loved his people with all his heart. He discussed and helped with all matters big and small in the village, especially during the years of crop failure and famine in the years of Ky Dau (1789) and Canh Tuat (1970). His contributions to our village were immense.” (“Nhan Son Phong Tho Ky” handwritten version continued in 1806 by Ho Trong Kham – translated by Ho Doi).

Mr. and Mrs. Ho Phi Tu gave birth to two daughters, Ho Thi Ai and Ho Thi On. Mrs. Ho Thi Ai married a Dang person in the commune, Mrs. Ho Thi On married Ngo (now Son Hai commune, Quynh Luu). Later, his maternal great-grandson, Colonel, Writer Nguyen Minh Chau, when Quan Tu Nhan Hau fell seriously ill, he discussed with his wife and two daughters to donate all the land that he and his wife had reclaimed and purchased to the village. He passed away on August 24 (lunar calendar). The village buried him and built a temple in Chai Quan Hau. In front of the temple are three words "Bao Nghia Dan", on both sides are parallel sentences.

"The air is in Quynh Dia, the previous general was born
"Name in Nhan Son, death and resurrection"

Since then, every year the village held a grand memorial service for him and had a saying:

“Twenty-first anniversary of Mr. Le Lai's death
Twenty-second anniversary of Le Loi's death
Twenty-three wash dishes and wash dishes
Twenty-fourth anniversary of the death of the Private Mandarin"

It must also be said that Nhan Son is a small village that during the Tay Son period had 5 marquises out of a total of 8 marquises of the village from the beginning of the Le (Later Le) to the end of the Nguyen dynasty.

That is:Private Marquis Ho Phi Tu
Marquis Thinh Duc Ho Trong Thinh
Marquis of Mien Duc Ho Van Mien
Duke of Don Duc Ho Huu Thiem
andThe Trung Cau Hau, Nguyen family

As for Marquis Ho Phi Tu, the village built a temple to worship him, sheltered him, protected him, and worshiped him attentively. Even when the Tay Son dynasty fell and Nguyen Anh took cowardly revenge, the temple to worship Marquis Ho Phi Tu was still taken care of and burned incense.

Unfortunately, the temple has now been completely destroyed.
