Sparta Praha loaned Hong Quan to Thanh Hoa "for free".

According to the Thanh Hoa team's leadership, they secured striker Mac Hong Quan on loan from Sparta Praha "for free," without paying a transfer fee. The contract is for three months and ends after the 2013 V-League season.

After this deadline, if Thanh Hoa is satisfied with Mac Hong Quan's performance and contributions to the team, they will proceed with the official transfer of the player.

At that time, Thanh Hoa only had to pay the Czech Republic team about 200,000 USD in training fees because Mac Hong Quan was only 21 years old.

After returning to Vietnam with his father to prepare for training with the U23 national team, Mac Hong Quan officially signed a contract yesterday to play for Thanh Hoa in the second half of the 2013 V-League season.

With Mac Hong Quan's arrival, Thanh Hoa also terminated the contract with striker Patiyo to make room for the third foreign player slot for Patrick Oboya, a former striker of MFK Ruzomberok (Slovakia). Previously,
