Establish a patent exchange platform for farmers.

The exchange platform for farmers' inventions and technologies is expected to become operational in three months.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Ministry of Science and Technology will cooperate to organize an exchange platform for farmers' inventions. This activity aims to prevent the "brain drain" of technology, as more and more useful inventions by farmers are not widely applied.

Accordingly, each exchange platform will be organized around a theme such as agriculture, fisheries, or construction, so that scientists and businesses in need can come here as a technology "marketplace," meeting all needs from A to Z: trading, selling inventions and technologies, consulting, and closely connecting with a system of experts in evaluating and valuing technology.

This exchange platform is expected to become operational in about three months. In addition to showcasing products, similar to current Techmart platforms, this technology exchange will focus on providing consulting services and connecting businesses with potential customers. This is precisely the area where inventors and scientists are still facing challenges.

Mr. Pham Hong Quat, Deputy Director of the Department of Market Development and Science and Technology Enterprises, stated: "The inventive potential of Vietnamese people is enormous, but in reality, it is confined to local areas." This is considered a huge waste of intellectual capital and fails to maximize the commercial value of these very useful inventions.

However, it is difficult to expect inventors, business managers, and marketers to make machinery widely and effectively used. This pressing need necessitates the creation of a technology exchange platform for farmers.
