Focus on building infrastructure
When separating to establish Thai Hoa Town, the District Party Committee, People's Committee, departments and functional branches of Nghia Dan District left all headquarters and facilities to the town. After nearly 2 years of focusing on building new facilities, the district had to rent a working headquarters in cramped, inadequate conditions, with scattered workplaces. Up to now, after 5 years of separation, Nghia Dan's infrastructure system has been basically completed.

After nearly 2 years of focusing on building new facilities, the district had to rent a working headquarters in cramped, inadequate conditions, with scattered workplaces. Up to now, after 5 years of separation, Nghia Dan's infrastructure system has been basically completed.
Following the Ho Chi Minh road, passing through Nghia Dan district, it is easy to see the entire working area of the District Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee and departments, branches and organizations appearing with an open space, bearing the appearance of a modern urban area. Mr. Le Hong Son - Vice Chairman of the District People's Committee, said: "The infrastructure of Nghia Dan center has gone from nothing to a civilized urban area. Besides the attention and direction of the Central and the province, the district leaders have strengthened the work of urging implementation. Although there were difficult times in disbursing capital, the district has encouraged contractors to join hands and speed up the project progress according to the fastest and best goal. Up to now, there are still a number of projects and items that continue to be built and completed, but basically the infrastructure system, administrative headquarters, electricity, roads, schools and stations have met the requirements".

After 5 years of construction, Nghia Dan district has mobilized nearly 2,000 billion VND for basic construction with 140 works, including district, sector, commune offices, medical stations, traffic, irrigation, electricity systems, schools and the system of centers and grassroots cultural houses. Of the total capital investment for basic construction over the past 5 years, nearly 1,100 billion VND has been focused on 24 traffic works in the district. In particular, the routes connecting Ho Chi Minh road to the center of Nghia Dan district and from National Highway 48 through Nghia Trung, Nghia Binh, and Nghia Lam communes have been upgraded, newly built, and paved, creating favorable conditions for people to travel, exchange and develop socio-economy.
To achieve results in all fields, especially in basic construction, Nghia Dan District Party Committee has promoted the spirit of solidarity and overcoming difficulties of the entire political system, focusing on directing the planning and development of socio-economic plans until 2020. Along with adjusting and expanding the town, the district has focused on propaganda and mobilization work, creating consensus among the people to join hands in building a rich and beautiful homeland. People in localities have highly agreed and voluntarily donated land and dismantled works to serve the construction of welfare works in the area.
From the successes in basic construction work, Nghia Dan district is focusing on promoting the construction of Dong Hoi - Nghia Dan - Thai Hoa road to create regional connectivity between localities in Phu Quy with localities in the province and the whole country. Along with that, completing rescue routes, serving people's lives and identifying urban areas for planning, investment and construction, creating economic - social development clusters according to the characteristics and strengths of each region. Up to now, with the completion of Nghia Dan town's infrastructure, the district has completed the planning of 5 other urban areas associated with promoting new rural construction.
Last March, the district People's Committee announced the planning for Nghia Hong Town, creating development momentum for the communes of Nghia Hong, Nghia Mai, Nghia Minh and Nghia Thinh. During the construction process, the district has strengthened coordination with investors, focusing on completing the criteria, creating conditions for Nghia Son and Nghia Lam communes to become urban areas in 2015. Along with accelerating the construction of infrastructure in the communes, Nghia Dan district has directed to increase resources to build and upgrade public welfare works such as: hospitals, standard commune health stations, stadiums, bus stations, and parks serving community activities.
