(Baonghean.vn) -Cam Muon commune is one of the most remote and disadvantaged communes in Que Phong district. It takes half a day's walk to get from the commune center to the village.

The commune has 680 households with over 1,200 inhabitants, more than 50% of whom are living in poverty. The road from Kim Son town to the center of Cam Muon commune is extremely difficult; only about 10 km is accessible by car, but it has many steep slopes, sharp hairpin bends, and is very dangerous with cliffs on one side and mountains on the other. The remaining part of the journey is on foot, along a slippery dirt road, and in some sections, one has to walk through the stream bed, making it almost impossible to travel during rain or the flood season. Therefore, the lives of the people are very difficult and challenging.

Reporters from Nghe An newspaper have captured some images of the road to Cam Muon:

From the center of the commune, motorbikes and cars have to cross a stream to reach the village.

A steep, rocky path runs very difficult to navigate above the village of Cam Pom.

To get to Na Quia village, pedestrians and motorbikes cross a temporary bridge, while cars have to wade through a stream.

To reach Huoi May and Na Lan villages, the only way for the locals is on foot.
along the stream.
