Provincial Farmers' Association gives comments on the Draft Amendment to the Constitution and the Draft Amendment to the Land Law

(Baonghean.vn) -This morning, March 12, the Provincial Farmers' Association held an expanded meeting of the Provincial Association Executive Committee and collected comments on the Draft Amendments to the 1992 Constitution and the Draft Amendments to the Land Law, and deployed the content to prepare for the Provincial Farmers' Association Congress.

At the Conference, representatives of the Farmers' Associations of 21 urban districts and related units contributed many opinions to the Draft Amended Constitution, focusing on Chapter 1, the political regime, Chapter 2, human rights, basic rights and obligations of citizens. In particular, regarding the Association's activities, some opinions suggested that it is necessary to add the phrase socio-political organizations, social organizations after the phrase People's Fatherland Front in Article 9 to affirm the role and position of mass organizations in the Constitution...

Regarding the Draft Law on Land (amended), delegates participated in discussions, focusing on issues such as: Basis for land allocation, land lease, permission to change land use purpose; authority to reclaim land; procedures for reclaiming land according to land use plan; compensation policy when the State reclaims land...

Also at the Conference, delegates listened to and gave their opinions on the Draft Report to be submitted to the 8th Provincial Farmers' Union Congress (term 2013 - 2018), approved the personnel plan, the plan to elect the delegation to attend the National Farmers' Union Congress and deployed some contents to prepare for the congress.
