(Baonghean) -For Mr. Vo Ngoc Lam - Secretary of Mai Hac De Block Party Cell, Nam Dan Town Party Committee, Party magazines and newspapers are indispensable spiritual food every day. Mr. Lam confided that now retired, being elected by the collective to hold the position of Secretary, in order to lead and direct well, he must quickly update information on the Party's policies and resolutions and the State's policies and laws to apply to his residential area. Therefore, every day, Mr. Lam reads and takes notes on important provincial, domestic and international news; good models and practices in Party cells to disseminate to Party members in Party cell meetings; and forwards newspapers to Party members who need to update information.

The good models and practices of the Party cells were praised in the newspaper. Mr. Lam and many Party members in the Party cell read, absorbed and wondered, why can they do it but we can't!? Accordingly, the Mai Hac De Party cell gradually formed more practical topics such as keeping the environment clean; not encroaching on traffic safety corridors; ensuring security and order... At the same time, applying and selecting to include in the Party cell good and practical practices in implementing Directive 03 of the Politburo on continuing to promote studying and following the moral example of Ho Chi Minh. Thanks to that, Party members have also shown exemplary behavior in preserving the common environment and ensuring "cleanliness from home to alley"; setting an example of not encroaching on traffic safety corridors to serve business activities, trading, and expanding campuses...

Officials, party members and civil servants of Nam Dan Town read the newspaper at the beginning of the hour.

Not only the Mai Hac De block Party Cell but also the Lam Son block Party Cell and many other Party Cells in the town have effectively used the Party's newspapers and magazines. Comrade Ngo Quang Hung - Secretary of the Nam Dan Town Party Committee shared: The Party's newspapers and magazines have their own strengths, which are official information and orientation. Therefore, although the Party's budget for purchasing newspapers is only over 18 million VND per year on average, the Town Party Committee still tries to order almost all of the Party's newspapers and magazines, including Nhan Dan newspaper, Nghe An newspaper, Communist magazine, Party Building magazine..., for the Party Cells. For 4 schools, in the past, the town spent money to distribute them, but now the schools also buy them for use. Besides distribution, the use of newspapers in the Nam Dan Town Party Committee is also very practical.

The advantage in the town is that 10/10 blocks have spacious cultural houses and shelves for books and newspapers. Newspaper publications are available at the cultural houses, serving those who need to update information. At the Party Committee and People's Committee of the town, when there are articles with good content, methods or effectiveness that can be applied to local reality, they are brought up for discussion and debate, such as models for developing commercial services, craft villages; or the work of building the urban face; these are actions following Uncle Ho's moral example; building a strong party organization.

At the headquarters of the Party Committee, People's Council, and People's Committee of the town, the flag-saluting regime has been maintained every Monday, overcoming the problem of officials and civil servants coming late and leaving early. Each official and party member is more conscious of saving, setting aside a small portion every month to provide monthly subsidies for 1-2 disadvantaged people in the area. The Secretary of the Party Committee of the town, in addition to participating in the general contribution, also used the entire reporter allowance of about 2-3 million VND/year to encourage children in difficult circumstances to strive to study well... The Party Committee of the town has achieved the title of exemplary student for 3 consecutive years and in 2012 achieved the title of exemplary student.
