Speeding up the progress of projects of Vietnam Cement Industry Corporation in Nghe An

(Baonghean.vn) -This afternoon, April 10, the Provincial People's Committee worked with the Vietnam Cement Industry Corporation (Vicem) on a number of projects invested by the Corporation in the province. Comrade Huynh Thanh Dien - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired the meeting.

Attending the meeting were representatives of relevant departments, branches, and leaders of the People's Committee of Quynh Luu district. On the Vicem side, there was Mr. Ta Quang Buu - Deputy General Director of Vietnam Cement Industry Corporation, and members of the delegation.

Overview of the working session.

Recently, in Nghe An, Vietnam Cement Industry Corporation is implementing a number of projects: Dong Hoi Port, Non-fired Brick Factory, Hoang Mai Cement Line 2, and Vicem Hoang Mai Company's staff housing area. Currently, the projects are being implemented, but during the implementation process, there are some difficulties and problems such as: Changing the purpose of using protective land (Cement Line 2 project); Difficulties in site clearance of Hoang Mai 2 expert area project and Non-fired Brick Factory; Extension of the license for surveying and establishing Dong Hoi Port project; Planning and investing in technical infrastructure at Hoang Mai Industrial Park.

After leaders at all levels, sectors and consulting units reported on the work related to the implementation of Vicem's projects, Mr. Huynh Thanh Dien - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee highly appreciated Vicem's attention and investment in Nghe An and to facilitate Vicem to implement the projects well according to the set schedule, the province and relevant levels and sectors will soon remove difficulties and obstacles in the projects. At the same time, he hoped that in the coming time, Vicem will continue to invest in completing the above projects on schedule and invest in a number of other projects in Nghe An.
