(Baonghean.vn) -On the evening of May 25, 2013, at the Provincial Labor Culture House, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, in coordination with the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, and the Association for the Protection of People with Disabilities and Orphans, organized a gathering to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the Association for People with Disabilities and Orphans.

Attending the program were: Mr. Nguyen Dinh Lien - Deputy Minister of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs - Chairman of the Vietnam Association for the Protection of Disabled People and Orphans; Ms. Dinh Thi Le Thanh - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; along with leaders and former leaders of the Provincial Party Committee, Provincial People's Council, Provincial People's Committee, Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, departments, agencies, districts, towns, businesses, organizations, and outstanding individuals in charitable and humanitarian activities.



Philanthropists support the fund for people with disabilities.

During the program, many businesses and philanthropists donated over 12 billion VND to the fund for people with disabilities. On this occasion, the Provincial People's Committee also presented the Provincial Association for the Protection of People with Disabilities with a banner bearing the inscription "Nghe An Provincial Association for the Protection of People with Disabilities and Orphans: 20 Years of Connecting Noble Hearts to Assist People with Disabilities and Orphans".
