Eleven pirates handed over to Indonesian police.
On April 12th, in Vung Tau City (Ba Ria Vung Tau province), Indonesian police, led by Colonel Guntur Setyanto, held a meeting with Vietnamese authorities regarding the case of 11 Indonesian pirates who hijacked the Zafirah ship (Malaysia).
The authorities are carrying out the handover procedures.
These pirates were apprehended by the Vietnamese Coast Guard.
Colonel Truong Van Tai, Commander of the Border Guard Command of Ba Ria - Vung Tau, provided a summary of the process of arresting, interrogating, and managing 11 Indonesian pirates involved in the attack and hijacking of the Zafirah ship.
