Meeting with Vieng Phan cluster (Laos)

(Baonghean) -From May 31 to June 1, a delegation of representatives from Vieng Phan Village Cluster, Sam To District, Hua Phan Province (Laos) visited and worked in Thong Thu Commune (Que Phong).

The two sides informed each other about the development situation of each side in the past time; exchanged, discussed and proposed directions for the tasks of signing cooperation in the coming time: Pay more attention to propaganda and education work for the people, especially those living along the border, to strictly comply with border regulations and rules. Coordinate regularly, properly resolve issues arising along the border. Create conditions for people on both sides to visit relatives, exchange, trade goods, learn from experience in economic development. In particular, the armed forces of both sides regularly coordinate closely in patrolling the border, preventing and suppressing illegal border intruders, smugglers, drug traffickers, weapons, explosives, etc.
