(Baonghean.vn) - On the evening of July 26, Vinh City Youth Union coordinated with the City Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs to organize a candle lighting ceremony at the City Martyrs Cemetery. Attending the candle lighting ceremony were comrade Nguyen Cong Thanh - Director of Military Zone 4 Museum, city leaders, representatives of the Provincial Youth Union, and more than 1,000 Youth Union members from wards, communes, schools, H83 Brigade, Provincial Border Guard, Police, and Business Unions.

The candle lighting ceremony was held with the following contents: a cultural program praising the heroic feats of the once glorious soldiers who sacrificed their youth and blood for the country to blossom with independence.
Next, delegates and youth union members of the units offered flowers and incense at the martyrs’ memorial. At the same time, more than 750 candles were lit on the martyrs’ graves at the cemetery. On this occasion, Vinh City Youth Union coordinated with the units to present gifts to 10 policy families.
