Provincial leaders work with Nghe An Radio and Television Station

(Baonghean) - Yesterday morning (June 12), comrade Dinh Thi Le Thanh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee worked with Nghe An Radio and Television Station.

At the meeting, comrade Nguyen Nhu Khoi - Director of Nghe An Radio and Television Station reported on the operation situation and development direction of the Station. In recent times, Nghe An Radio and Television Station has improved and innovated the form and content of propaganda on both radio and television. Currently, the Station broadcasts 5 radio and television news programs every day. The programs reflect quite comprehensively the fields of politics, economics, culture - society, national defense - security; ensuring timely information on events, effectively orienting public opinion.

However, compared to the general requirements of development and the level of work, the facilities and technical equipment of Nghe An Radio and Television Station are no longer guaranteed. A part of the equipment supported by ODA projects has degraded, greatly affecting the quality of production, broadcasting programs and propaganda work in general.

Comrade Dinh Thi Le Thanh spoke, praising the efforts of the staff and employees of Nghe An Radio and Television Station in performing well the propaganda task in the context of many difficulties in facilities and equipment, and highly appreciating the development plan and goals of Nghe An Radio and Television Station in the coming time. At the same time, she requested the staff and reporters of Nghe An Radio and Television Station to cultivate their skills and expertise to perform well the propaganda work, continue to set examples of new factors in all areas of life; focus on completing the project to develop Nghe An Radio and Television Station in the period of 2013-2020 to submit to the Provincial People's Committee for approval; the Station needs to specifically calculate the capital source and time to start construction of the operating house and office; continue to pay attention to the financial mechanism; aim to build Nghe An Radio and Television Station worthy of a station in the North Central region.

On the occasion of preparing to celebrate Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21), comrade Dinh Thi Le Thanh sent a congratulatory flower basket to the leaders of Nghe An Radio and Television Station and staff.
