The Prime Minister highly appreciated and believed that Mr. Alberto's visit would make a practical contribution to promoting relations between the two countries.
On the afternoon of June 4th, at the Government Headquarters, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung received the Minister of Interior of Mozambique, Alberto Ricardo Mondlane, who is on a working visit to Vietnam.
Welcoming Mr. Alberto to Vietnam, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung highly appreciated the results of the talks between the Vietnamese Ministry of Public Security and the Mozambican Ministry of Interior and stated that the results of Mr. Alberto's visit and the cooperation between the two ministries would be a practical contribution to promoting relations between the two countries.

Expressing gratitude for Mozambique's support for Vietnam during its struggle for independence and in the process of national reconstruction, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung emphasized that Vietnam values and wishes to work with Mozambique to promote cooperation between the two countries, bringing practical benefits to both sides.
In this spirit, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung proposed that the two sides support each other in multilateral forums, strongly promote cooperation in the fields of economics, trade, and investment, and expand into new areas of cooperation such as rubber cultivation, healthcare, and education and training.
Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung affirmed that the Vietnamese Government supports cooperation between the two Ministries, especially in the field of crime prevention and protection of citizens of both countries.
Thanking the Prime Minister for taking the time to meet, Mr. Alberto briefed on some key aspects of Mozambique's socio-economic situation, and affirmed that his country attaches particular importance to cooperation with Vietnam in various fields.
Mr. Alberto stated that many Vietnamese officials and experts are currently assisting Mozambique in the fields of agriculture, telecommunications, and industry. Cooperation in crime prevention is progressing very well, with many Mozambican police officers currently studying in Vietnam.
Mr. Alberto also stated that during this visit, the two Ministries outlined many directions for future cooperation, focusing on training crime prevention officers, equipment, etc.
