Below are some foods that nutritionists advise middle-aged people to avoid.

Salt

Too much salt in the diet negatively affects blood pressure. Salt causes the body to retain water, which increases blood pressure. Higher blood pressure puts more stress on the heart, kidneys, arteries, and brain, and can also lead to heart attacks and strokes.

Potato chips, processed meats, cheese, frozen foods, pizza... are among the foods that contain a lot of salt.

Bacon

Foods that can worsen arthritis include bacon, egg yolks, corn, sunflower seeds, soybeans, margarine, and fried foods.

Wine, no more than 3 glasses per day.

Many studies suggest that drinking wine in moderation is good for the heart. However, according to the National Institutes of Health (NIH), excessive alcohol consumption can damage the heart and liver. Statistically, heart disease is the leading cause of death among people who abuse alcohol.

Road

Most people avoid sugar to prevent weight gain. Additionally, researchers have found evidence suggesting that consuming too much sugar can actually make you age faster.

When a person consumes sugar in the form of ice cream or a candy bar, their body converts these sugars into glucose.

While glucose is known to cause high blood sugar levels, leading to diabetes, it can also cause other conditions such as cardiovascular disease, kidney damage, or nerve damage. Additionally, diabetes can also cause skin, oral, and bone problems.
