(Baonghean.vn) –In the festive atmosphere of May, the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee organized a conference to commend outstanding examples of studying and following the moral example of Ho Chi Minh. 27 exemplary collectives and 40 exemplary individuals from Nghe An province who have excelled in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's moral example are truly vibrant flowers celebrating the President's birthday.

Ms. Vi Thi Son, Party branch secretary of Lau village (Thac Giam commune - Tuong Duong district), was moved and proud to attend the conference summarizing the two-year implementation of Directive 03.

Traveling over 100 km from Thach Giam commune, Tuong Duong district, Ms. Vi Thi Son, Secretary of the Party branch of Lau village, was moved and proud to attend the mid-year review conference and receive a commendation for outstanding achievements in studying and following the moral example of Ho Chi Minh. Ms. Son said that, following the example of President Ho Chi Minh, every Party member and resident of Lau village strives to do their best in their respective tasks. In particular, in the work of building new rural areas, Lau village is considered a model unit of Thach Giam commune and Tuong Duong district. To date, Lau village has no social vices, and its Party branch has consistently achieved the title of "clean and strong" for many years. "After this two-year review, Party members and the people will continue to follow the example of President Ho Chi Minh, striving to build a new cultural life in the residential area and become a model cultural village," Ms. Son affirmed.

Sharing the same feelings of excitement and pride, Mr. Luong Van Canh, Secretary of the Party cell of Lam Khe village, Chi Khe commune, Con Cuong district, said that thanks to studying and following the moral example of Ho Chi Minh, there are now only 12 poor households in the village. For the past 7 years, the Party cell has consistently achieved the title of "clean, strong, and comprehensive." Social evils no longer appear in Lam Khe. "As ethnic minority people, we believe that studying and following the example of President Ho Chi Minh must be a regular and concrete practice in our daily lives," Mr. Canh emphasized.

Mr. Nguyen Tri Hoa, Secretary of the Party Committee of Son Thanh commune, delivered a presentation at the conference.

As the first person honored to present a paper at the Conference, Comrade Nguyen Tri Hoa, Secretary of the Party Committee of Son Thanh commune, said that since ancient times, Son Thanh has been known as a poor land, "with experience of enduring hunger and frugality," but now, Son Thanh is a locality with comprehensive development, leading Yen Thanh district and a shining example in Nghe An province. The process of studying and following Uncle Ho's example in Son Thanh is a long one, contributing to changing the face of the homeland. Son Thanh's experience is to focus on building a theme each year. In 2011, the Son Thanh commune Party Committee launched the campaign "Practicing thrift, combating corruption, waste, and bureaucracy," and in 2012 the theme was "Raising a sense of responsibility, wholeheartedly serving the fatherland and the people, building our Party into a truly clean, strong, and civilized society."

To concretize the two points above, the Party Committee and people of Son Thanh commune resolutely adopted the slogan "Setting a pioneering example for Party members and officials in land clearance, donating land for road construction, land conversion, and implementing the National goal of building new rural areas in Son Thanh commune." After two years of implementing Directive 03, Son Thanh commune achieved tremendous results, becoming the first commune in Nghe An province to complete the criteria for new rural areas.

In the presentation of the Party Committee of the Party and Mass Organizations of Cua Lo town, Comrade Phan Cong Luu - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Town Party Committee - emphasized that Cua Lo's experience is to launch the campaign to study and follow the moral example of President Ho Chi Minh to all citizens through concrete actions, and in the past two years, many exemplary individuals have emerged in all fields in Cua Lo.

Comrade To Hong Hai - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Propaganda Department - affirmed that the concrete results of studying and following the moral example of Uncle Ho are the conscious self-cultivation of morality and lifestyle, and the spirit of serving the people of each cadre and Party member through concrete and practical actions. After two years of implementation, Nghe An has achieved results in many fields, with profound economic, political, and social significance. These include the movement of mutual support and assistance for the poor, impoverished areas, remote areas, and areas with special difficulties in the province; exemplary patriotic and compassionate individuals; and initiatives such as the "bowl of porridge of compassion" and "meal of compassion" for the poor in hospitals throughout the province. The movement to build new rural areas, develop large-scale model fields, and restructure crop seasons... Many agencies and units have taken simple, specific but practical actions such as rectifying work style and discipline in agency and unit activities, holding flag-raising ceremonies, reviewing work and cleaning the office every Monday, and refraining from drinking alcohol at lunchtime, as seen in units in Cua Lo, Anh Son, Nghi Loc, the Provincial Police, and the Provincial Military Command,...

In studying and following the moral example of Ho Chi Minh, many exemplary figures have emerged, such as Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Duc Cuong, Deputy Head of the Anti-Drug Crime Police Department of Nghe An Province, who, imbued with the teachings of Uncle Ho, selflessly dedicated himself to the nation and served the people, achieving exceptionally outstanding results in the fight against drug crime and being awarded the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces by the State; Comrade Hoang Van Binh, from the Anh Son District Military Command, provided support for two orphaned children; Comrade Vo Van Vinh, Chairman of the People's Committee of Nghi Thai Commune, Nghi Loc District, donated 100 million VND to the "For the Poor" fund,... All these concrete and practical achievements have made significant contributions, creating a beautiful and admirable aspect of everyday life in society, and actively contributing to the implementation of socio-economic development, strengthening national defense and security, and building the Party throughout the province.

Highly appreciating the results achieved in the two years of implementing Directive 03, Comrade Ho Duc Phoc emphasized that, in the coming time, we need to continue to promote the study and emulation of Ho Chi Minh's moral example with eight specific tasks such as studying and researching the thematic topic on "Studying and emulating Ho Chi Minh's moral example on the people-oriented, democratic style, setting an example; upholding the exemplary responsibility of cadres and Party members, especially key leading cadres at all levels"; further concretizing the eight contents of Directive 03 into the actual circumstances of each locality; building advanced collective and individual models and organizing annual commendation and honoring ceremonies; continuing to build and nurture exemplary collectives and individuals in studying and emulating Uncle Ho; continuing to promote and create works on studying and emulating Ho Chi Minh's moral example to create a wider impact among the people,...
