Commendation of typical progressive youth following Uncle Ho's teachings
On the morning of May 15, at Uncle Ho's memorial house, Kim Lien Relic Site (Nam Dan), the Provincial Youth Union Executive Committee held a ceremony to honor typical advanced youth following Uncle Ho's teachings in 2013. There were 34 typical advanced individuals honored on the occasion of the 123rd anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday and the summary of 2 years of implementing Directive 03 of the Politburo attending the ceremony.
(Baonghean.vn) -On the morning of May 15, at Uncle Ho's memorial house, Kim Lien Relic Site (Nam Dan), the Provincial Youth Union Executive Committee held a ceremony to honor typical advanced youth following Uncle Ho's teachings in 2013. There were 34 typical advanced individuals honored on the occasion of the 123rd anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday and the summary of 2 years of implementing Directive 03 of the Politburo attending the ceremony.
Before entering the ceremony, the delegates offered incense and flowers to pay tribute to President Ho Chi Minh - the person who directly founded and trained the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union. Although he has passed away, his ideology, morality and personality will forever be a shining example, a bright torch for the younger generation to learn and follow.
In recent years, the movement "Nghe An Youth follow Uncle Ho's teachings" associated with Directive 03 of the Politburo on continuing to study and follow the moral example of Ho Chi Minh has been concretized by grassroots organizations of the Youth Union and the Youth Union of Uncle Ho's hometown through the movement "5 shocks, 4 accompaniments" with many practical and meaningful activities such as: Examination and distribution of medicine for the poor; building charity houses, boarding houses for people to raise, volunteering for community life, donating blood, actively developing the economy, eliminating hunger and reducing poverty, administrative reform, suppressing crime to protect the country, bravely saving people in distress... From the movements and activities, many typical examples of studying and following Uncle Ho have emerged, with typical representatives being 34 typical advanced youths in various fields being honored this time.
Comrade Nguyen Thi Thao (Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission) and Comrade Nguyen Dinh Hung (Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union) awarded certificates of merit to typical advanced youth.
Speaking at the ceremony, Comrade Nguyen Dinh Hung - Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union praised the awareness, responsibility and creative and practical ways of doing things of the advanced models in the past time. At the same time, he expressed his wish that the young generation in President Ho Chi Minh's homeland will continue to strive to follow his teachings, become a leading force in studying, practicing ethics, mastering science and technology applied to production and life; volunteering for community life, contributing with the Party Committee and people of the province to soon build Nghe An into a prosperous province as Uncle Ho always wished.
Typical examples of reporting to Uncle Ho
As part of this series of activities, on May 16, typical advanced youth delegates will participate in traditional educational activities in Hanoi such as visiting President Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum in Ba Dinh Square; visiting the Temple of Literature, Bat Trang Pottery Village, etc.
