Noble hearts

(Baonghean) - I've never seen anyone as virtuous as Mrs. Ke and Mr. Hoach's family. Last year they adopted a daughter, and this year they've already adopted a grandson. And they're not exactly wealthy, yet they already have two grown daughters!

Good heavens, why do those two look even more like Mr. Hoach than his own two daughters? Or am I mistaken?

- How could there be a mistake? The birth certificates of those two children clearly state that their biological parents are different people, and Mrs. Ke and Mr. Hoach are only their adoptive parents! Otherwise, how could Mr. Hoach have secured that position? Do you know that civil servants who have a third child or more are reprimanded and transferred? I heard that Mrs. Ke is even on the list for promotion!

- You have a point. I was convinced that when Mrs. Ke took her long unpaid leave, it was for maternity leave. So it turns out that wasn't the case, was it?

- Well, I heard Mrs. Ke say she went for medical treatment and to sort out the paperwork for adopting a child. I don't know what kind of tumor she had, but her belly suddenly swelled up. Luckily, God took pity on her and she found the right doctor and medicine. After her leave, she looks beautiful and radiant! Perhaps that's why they frequent the temple and adopt children to accumulate merit!

- I'm still very suspicious. When they first "adopted" the child, Mr. Hoach asked me where to buy traditional Chinese medicine to nourish the new mother. And the temple they frequent is often visited by women praying for children. Could it be that they hired someone to "give birth on their behalf" or "register the birth" for them to avoid disciplinary action? And they also avoided paying a fine at the local ward office – killing two birds with one stone!

Oh dear, why would you say that? I heard that Ms. Hoa from the next room is also about to adopt a child...
