(Baonghean) -In the past 5 years, Do Luong has emerged as one of the districts that has done well in publishing and using Party newspapers. Every year, 97-100% of Party branches and committees buy and read Nghe An Newspaper. In addition, cadres in key positions, heads of organizations, communes and towns also have Nghe An Newspaper. The district has built many models of effective newspaper use...

To achieve such valuable results, recently, Do Luong District Party Committee has implemented many measures to direct and increase the purchase and reading of Party newspapers and magazines.
Specifically, the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee assigned the Propaganda Department, in addition to disseminating the contents of the directive, reminding party organizations to pay attention to the work of purchasing and reading Party newspapers and magazines, and regularly coordinating with the District Post Office to review the purchase and delivery of newspapers. Thanks to the full information update, the District Party Committee promptly took measures to urge and prevent the decrease in quantity. The District Post Office thoroughly instructed the postal staff to improve the quality of publishing, serving, and delivering newspapers on time and to the right address.

The Standing Committee of the District Party Committee also periodically organizes inspections of the use of purchasing funds and evaluations to improve the use of party newspapers in the activities of party cells. The District Party Committee has boldly included the content of purchasing and using party newspapers in the criteria for emulation and annual classification of grassroots party organizations, thereby raising awareness and responsibility in implementing the directive. Party committees and party cells not only seriously and fully purchase party newspapers and magazines but also pay more attention to improving the effectiveness of their use. In addition to the typical examples of effective newspaper use in the past such as Yen Son 2 Party Cell (Hoa Son Commune), Yen Huong Party Cell (Yen Son Commune), many party cells have appeared that read and follow party newspapers, typically Tran Phu Hamlet Party Cell (Luu Son Commune), Block 9 Party Cell (Town).

In typical units, such as the Party Committee, the Military Agency Party Cell, the District Police, right from the afternoon when the newspaper arrived, the Secretary - Head of the agency, the unit took the time to read and grasp the information on economics, security and order related to the area or field under their management so that the next morning at the beginning of the meeting, they could thoroughly disseminate it to the unit... Similarly, schools have a flexible way of using newspapers, suitable to their conditions. Typical among them are the Giang Son Dong Primary School Party Cell, Minh Son Primary School Party Cell and some other schools that keep newspapers in the library or waiting room, and post newspapers on the bulletin board for teachers and students to read together.

About Tran Phu hamlet, one of the typical, comprehensively strong hamlets of Luu Son commune. The use of party newspapers has become a habit. After the newspaper reaches the party cell, the party cell secretary reads it and passes it on to the executive committee and the Veterans Association to read. Nghe An newspaper along with news and books are kept in the clubhouse bookcase, creating conditions for everyone to read and follow. Thanks to that, Luu Son people have quickly grasped information on prices and market demand to choose advantageous crops such as vegetables, squash, beans, and organize commodity production. Currently, Luu Son has become a place to supply vegetables not only for the district market but also for many places in the country.

In addition to Luu Son, the Town Party Committee is also one of the localities that has made much progress in using party newspapers, in which the Party cell of block 9 stands out. Secretary and Block Leader Nguyen Quoc Hong shared: This used to be a hot spot for drugs, but with the participation of organizations and the press, especially the community drug rehabilitation model "friends helping friends" a few years ago, people have become aware of the harmful effects of drugs and no longer participate in and support this evil. In the past few years, drug abuse in the block has decreased significantly, and security and order in the block have been more sustainable.

Secretary of the Do Luong Town Party Committee Nguyen Huu Van said: Currently, the Town Party Committee directs 14 Party cells to strictly maintain the regulation of spending 30-40 minutes at the beginning of regular meetings to read newspapers and disseminate news. Since 2011, the Town has established a News Club that meets once a month. To improve the quality of rural Party cell activities, along with innovating the content of the News Club activities, the Town Party Committee is directing Party cells to effectively use the Party's newspapers and magazines.

Talking to us, comrade Le Minh Giang, Standing Deputy Secretary of Do Luong District Party Committee shared: One of the successful lessons in publishing and using Party newspapers and magazines, especially Nghe An newspaper, is to pay attention to doing a good job of propaganda so that the heads of Party committees, agencies and units are clearly aware of the responsibilities associated with that, which is to regularly check, urge and remind so that the work of purchasing and using newspapers can become routine.
