(Baonghean.vn) -To ensure the Van Temple - Cua Rao Festival takes place successfully, in the past few days, the People's Committee of Tuong Duong district has directed the functional agencies and the People's Committee of Xa Luong commune to focus on speeding up the festival service tasks. On the afternoon of February 28, 2013, the preparations for the festival were completed.

Regarding infrastructure, Tuong Duong district has focused on speeding up the completion of festival service items, typically the Cua Rao 2 suspension bridge has been completed. This year, visitors to the festival no longer have to walk on a temporary pontoon bridge, but on a solid suspension bridge 130.9m long and 1.9m wide. The front and back yards of the temple have been cleaned by students of Xa Luong Secondary School. In addition, Tuong Duong district has adjusted business and service activities in the festival area, organized a commitment to ensure food hygiene and safety, and sold at the right price with businesses in the festival area.

Preparations for spiritual rituals and traditional cultural, artistic and sports activities to preserve and promote cultural and historical values ​​such as: the Announcement Ceremony, the Great Sacrifice Ceremony at the temple, culinary competitions, cultural exchanges, crossbow shooting, stick pushing, con throwing, Lai Pao Thai writing competition, and the Miss Van Temple - Cua Rao contest have also been completed.
