Nghe An Endocrinology Hospital - One time I came
At the end of 2012, I took my wife to Nghe An Endocrinology Hospital for a check-up. The hospital looked simple and was in need of a lot of investment. However, in contrast to the cramped and difficult facilities, the service attitude of the doctors and nurses here made my wife, my husband, and many other patients very satisfied.
(Baonghean) -At the end of 2012, I took my wife to Nghe An Endocrinology Hospital for a check-up. The hospital looked simple and was in need of a lot of investment. However, in contrast to the cramped and difficult facilities, the service attitude of the doctors and nurses here made my wife, my husband, and many other patients very satisfied.
Welcoming us at the medical examination registration point, a nurse gently said: "Please hold this ticket and wait for the electronic board to display your turn, then go in and do the procedure". I looked up, the LED board in front of the door displayed 3 rows of numbers corresponding to 3 people registered for medical examination. It was only 8 o'clock but the number was already 312. Then, the electronic board also displayed my wife's name and number, along with a "computer" voice: "Please invite patient number... to come to room number 5 for examination". We entered, in front of the examination room, there was another electronic board mounted on the wall, next to it were 2 relatively large speakers. Everyone looked up at the electronic board and listened to the invitation from the speaker: "Please invite patient number... to come to examination room number... to receive the results". However, a few minutes later, the electronic board system had a problem and had to stop working for repair. There was no more electronic board, instead, each examination room had a nurse standing to read the patient's name. After reading the names, not seeing the patient appear, she immediately said to the crowd of nearly a hundred people: "If anyone has the name, please shout 'yes' to help me". I was surprised by the nurse's cultured behavior. It is hard to find in places that come into contact with people, especially hospitals.

After being introduced to the ultrasound room by the clinic, we followed the sign on the wall at the entrance. In front of the ultrasound room, there were 3 rows of 12 long chairs placed close together, with patients sitting crowded together. While waiting for my wife's ultrasound results, I went out to the hallway to sit for some fresh air. Next to me, Mrs. Truong Thi Phu, from Nghia Xuan (Quy Hop), was taking care of her husband in the Emergency Resuscitation Department. She took advantage of the time when the nurse was giving out medicine and also went out. We talked as if we were acquaintances. She said: "Your husband is entitled to the poor household insurance policy". I asked: "How did you do the procedure?" She said: "They gave us all the instructions. When we were admitted to the hospital, they took us through all the procedures." After 5 days of taking care of her husband in the Emergency Resuscitation Department, Mrs. Thuong was moved by the attitude of the staff and doctors. She affirmed: “The doctors and nurses here are very kind, unlike other hospitals. They always ask and talk to the patients, and when I have questions, they are always cheerful and gentle. So I don’t feel any pressure.”
I am very touched by the fact that despite working hard and facing many difficulties in the physical facilities, the medical team still treats patients with a caring and gentle attitude. Specifically, the hospital currently does not have a separate examination room, the rooms are always divided into many rooms: 10 examination rooms work together in 5 rooms, separated by glass panels; 2 ultrasound rooms and an electrocardiogram room in the same space... I am grateful for the affection of the doctors, but I feel sorry for many patients and their families. Many patients, while waiting for their turn to be examined or to receive results, innocently eat candy, fruit and litter the floor (although there is always a large trash can in front of the hospital lobby), some even use long chairs as sleeping places, some spread their luggage and sit in the middle of the hallway. Although these uncivilized actions are constantly reminded by the medical team, some people still do the same thing. Hopefully, such manifestations will be quickly overcome by everyone. That is a practical response, in accordance with the behavior that the medical team here has given to the patients.
