(Baonghean.vn) -Today, February 17, the delegation of the Provincial Youth Union of Bolikhamxay Province (Lao People's Democratic Republic) visited and worked with the Nghe An Provincial Youth Union on the occasion of the traditional New Year of Quy Ty 2013. Welcoming the delegation were representatives of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee and the Standing Committee of the Nghe An Provincial Youth Union.
Before the meeting, the provincial youth union officials of the two provinces came to offer flowers to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh at the Square named after him, expressing their respect and deep gratitude to President Ho Chi Minh - the genius leader of the Vietnamese people, who laid the foundation for the special friendship between Vietnam and Laos.

In recent years, promoting the tradition of solidarity, friendship and cooperation between the two countries, the Bolikhamxay Provincial Youth Union and the Nghe An Provincial Youth Union have carried out many practical and meaningful activities, leaving deep impressions on the youth of the two provinces. Currently, in Vinh city (Nghe An), there are over 340 Lao students studying at universities and colleges.
At the meeting, the two sides exchanged experiences to improve the quality of the Youth Union, Association and youth movement, emphasizing the role of youth in maintaining the solidarity, friendship and cooperation between Nghe An and the provinces of Laos, cooperating to build a stable and developed border area, including Bolikhamxay province. The two sides shared experiences in party building, consolidating the political system at the grassroots level, promoting mass movements, and implementing economic models in the locality.
