Family, a haven of love.
1.
1.In our youth, we always competed for rewards and compared tasks with our siblings, readily giving way to friends and eagerly taking on more strenuous work elsewhere. As we grow older, we may eagerly anticipate special occasions to congratulate and give flowers to strangers, but forget to express our love and gratitude to our parents. Then we shed tears upon receiving a thoughtful gesture from someone else, while we always thought that when our mother cooked a special meal for us, or stayed up all night for us, it was simply her duty as a mother...
Whenever we reflect on our memories, we surely recognize a smiling face of ourselves. We were indifferent, wasteful, and thoughtless... Yet, we never received any reproach. Where did this forgiveness, generosity, and boundless love come from? It was from FAMILY.

2.I have witnessed many fathers, despite their illnesses, still making the effort to leave their villages and work as cyclo drivers in the city to earn money to support their children studying at university. I have also felt the tender, loving gaze of mothers towards their children born with disabilities due to Agent Orange exposure, filled with affection for their little angels.
Even if we are the poorest people in the world, our parents' embrace is the warmest. Even if it's just a simple thatched hut, our home will always be the place we long to return to after the storms of life. What makes this miracle possible, if not FAMILY?
3.For generations, the Vietnamese family, with its sacred blood ties, has been a source of strength, multiplying the love and connection between each individual. Perhaps from small things: ensuring a peaceful afternoon as a mother chews betel nut, keeping a child asleep soundly... we have produced heroes in our wars to defend the country.
Therefore, it's impossible not to worry when, in the whirlwind of today's market economy, many traditional values are eroded, mutual concern is fading, many peaceful homes are suddenly shattered... and life, somewhere, suddenly becomes confusing and lonely?!
Let each of us take a moment to look back. Don't wait until we're far from home to regret our thoughtlessness and blameworthy behavior. Don't let us forever be the "latecomers" on that journey of love!
