Strengthening coordination between the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and member organizations

(Baonghean.vn) -On the afternoon of June 25, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee held a conference to evaluate the results of the implementation of the regulations and the program of coordinated action between the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and member organizations in the first 6 months of 2013; and to discuss the program of coordinated action in the coming time.

In the first 6 months of 2013, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and its member organizations have promoted their roles and responsibilities in coordinating the implementation of the unified action program set forth by the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee. In coordination, the parties basically adhered to the content, maintained the principles of respect, equality, and cooperation; cared for and created favorable conditions to jointly complete common goals.

However, the report also pointed out the limitations that the coordination of the provincial Fatherland Front in implementing a number of tasks in a number of fields is still slow and ineffective; the role and position of member organizations in grasping social thoughts and opinions has not been fully promoted. The coordination between member organizations and the Front or between members is sometimes not proactive, not closely following the functions and tasks of each side...

The key task in the last 6 months of the year is for the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and its members to continue to further promote coordination to effectively carry out the work of gathering, consolidating and building the great national unity bloc, creating consensus in society.

The conference also informed about the activities of the provincial Fatherland Front in participating in government building and some opinions and recommendations of the provincial Fatherland Front to the People's Council and People's Committee at the upcoming 9th session of the provincial People's Council.
