Will build the second aircraft spare parts factory in Vietnam

Officials from Japan's Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Ltd said on July 5 that the group will build its second aircraft parts manufacturing plant in Vietnam in the summer of 2014.

The new factory will be located near the current factory in Hanoi and will produce parts for the Boeing 777 aircraft.

Meanwhile, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Ltd's Nagoya plant in Japan will focus on producing parts for the latest Boeing 787 aircraft as Boeing plans to ramp up production of the Boeing 787.

The current factory in Hanoi produces spare parts for the smaller Boeing 737 aircraft and employs 200 Vietnamese workers./.
